It is with regret that this page came about to be
published but, as was mentioned so accurately at the service, it is more a celebration of
the memories of this great guy who loved his wife, family, friends and environment.
Greatest sympathy to all, in particular, Nana, who was a real-life Titania to his own
performance of Oberon.
The service was held at a crematorium on the outskirts of Southport with excellent
poetic tributes from three talented speakers. There was then a party at 129 Lonsdale - a
chance to meet, talk, reminisce and, above all, celebrate..... after all, Grandpa was
never miserable - an example that he set us simply by existing.
