The 'Donkey-Kong' begins |
A worthwhile challenge, brightening up one of the arena walls while around us the horses and the staff went about their day-to-day business giving pleasure, re-assurance and practical help to those less fortunate. Steph Friend who is a volunteer at the centre picked us a challenge that, I'm sure, moved us all. It was like a real-life game of Donkey-Kong scaling the wall with all those ladders. All we needed was a damsel-in-distress at the top..... however, Carol was quite happy in the cherry-picker ! |

After a lot of reaching and getting splattered with paint-spots, things were proceeding okay. There was a worry that we didn't have enough paint, but with coffee, tea, etc. in the offing,..... we could always pop down to B&Q for some more... |
